200 year old restored cafe Japan 🇯🇵

Walking around the ancient wooden Japanese town of Kurashiki which is one of only a handful that survived the 20th century intact, I saw a man sitting alone outside a coffee shop. Turns out he was the owner and he had restored it himself tile by tile, bamboo wall by bamboo wall. The restoration was incredible and even more so was his story of how he did this based upon a simple crayon drawing he made on a plain white wall. #japan #coffee

You think you can just book a hotel in the reception in Japan? Think again! So you go book online as suggested by the staff… you think you can just show them your booking and go to your room? Think again! You need to use the check-in machine. However the check-in machine have other plans…. And when you finally get the help you deserve from the staff she tells you that you are in the wrong building 🤦‍♂️ #japan #hotel
