In June 2012, 25-year-old Ashley Biggs, an Army veteran and Domino’s pizza delivery driver in Green, Ohio, vanished during a late-night delivery run. What began as a missing person case quickly became a shocking Ohio true crime murder investigation. Prosecutors said Ashley was lured to a fake pizza delivery address in New Franklin, where she was attacked and killed by her ex-boyfriend, Chad Cobb, during a bitter custody battle over their daughter. But Ashley Biggs’ murder did not stop there. Investigators said Erica Stefanko, Cobb’s wife at the time, helped plan the killing by placing the bogus pizza order, driving him to and from the scene, and helping cover up the crime after Ashley’s body was dumped in Wayne County. The case would go on to become one of the most disturbing and talked-about murder cases in Ohio. Years later, after appeals, courtroom twists, and a retrial, Erica Stefanko was convicted again in 2024 for her role in the murder of Ashley Biggs and sentenced to life in prison with parole eligibility after 30 years.
