Andrew 'Ace' Pacecho: From Payday Loans to a $1.2 Million Poker Hand
Andrew 'Ace' Pacheco moved to Las Vegas with no job lined up and no connections. He worked three jobs, took out payday loans, and kept asking for a chance. Years later, he was winning a $1.2 million poker hand.
On this episode of Face the Ace, Andrew joins Remko to talk about going broke during the poker boom, building a career in Vegas nightlife, and earning a seat in some of poker’s biggest games. He also explains why his million-dollar game appearance left him wanting more, and the pressure to give action while still playing to win.
Away from the table, Andrew opens up about fatherhood, his son Ace’s autism, and the foundation he started in his honor.
